Creating a sub-user

All proxy purchases must be attached to a sub-user. When creating one, you must provide the following information:

  • name

  • username (min 10 characters)

  • password (min 10 characters)

  • email

The username and password will be used as the proxy credentials

Purchasing a plan

When you create a subuser you'll be given a sub_user_id This ID is used to purchase a plan, you'll also get a classic_id and classic_proxy_username, classic_proxy_username which you can use to purchase WaveRoyal.

To purchase a plan you need to pass the following information

  • type: The type of plan you wish to purchase. Options include RESIDENTIAL, PREMIUM_RESIDENTIAL, PRIVATE_ISP, MOBILE, IPV6.

  • quantity: Specify the quantity of proxies you need (e.g., 1, 10, 100).

  • For a PRIVATE_ISP plan, you must also include:

    • duration: The duration of the plan. Choices are MONTHLY

    • region: The geographical region. Choose from DE, UK, US, AU.

After you purchase a plan, we suggest storing the plan_id in the database as it is easier to keep track of things that way.

Proxy generation

Residential & Premium Residential

Build your proxy URL using the following format:

  • Standard:

    • standard.waveproxies.com:12321:user:pass_country-

      • HTTP: 12321

      • SOCKS5: 32325

  • Premium Residential:

    • premium.waveproxies.com:8080:user-package-resi-pool-all:pass

      • HTTP: 8080

      • SOCKS5: 1080

  • ISP Rotating:

    • rotatingisp.waveproxies.com:30:user-package-isp:pass

      • HTTP: 30

      • SOCKS5: 31

  • IPv6:

    • ipv6.waveproxies.com:30:user-package-ipv6:pass

      • HTTP: 30

      • SOCKS5: 31

Sticky proxies

You can add a random string parameter so it won't change the session and that'll make it a sticky proxy.
